Holloween

Sleepy Hollow:

In the early United States of America, young policeman Ichabod Crane is sent to from New York to the fledgling settlement of Sleepy Hollow to investigate a series of ghoulish murders. On his arrival, the town council informs him that the three victims were killed in open ground, and the heads had disappeared - taken by a headless ghost that is supposedly responsible. Ichabod is unconvinced of this, but learns more about the ghostly horseman - it is the ghost of a Hessian sent by the British during the revolutionary war, and he was caught by redcoats and decapitated with his own sword. When Ichabod sees the ghost kill one of the town council members, his skepticism evaporates - and he soon discovers that the horseman's ghost has an unholy connection to Balthus Van Tassel, a wealthy farmer - and whose daughter Ichabod is falling in love with...

  • A free time activity

    Hi Júlia,

How are you? What have you been doing since I saw you last tiem? You won't belive it, but i've been FCR (Federació Catalana de Rem).

I passed some hard proves along the year, and finally they took me to be part in the cadets team of FCR. We met only two times. The first was in Amposta for trainnig for the competition, we stayed Friday to Sunday training three hours in the morning and three hours in the afternoon. We did some gym and we were rowing with and eight. The second meeting it was in Aigüebelette (France), there we did competition. We had the second place in double and the first in eight, it was a big success, so I'm really pleased.

I thought that the experience would be strange, I mean take part of a boat with my rivals it would be so rare. But it was fantastic and now I have a better relationship with this girls.

Any was, I've got to go now, because tomorrow I have Maths exam, otherwise I'll be late for our next meeting. Keep in touch!

    Take care,

    Laia

    What makes a good friend

1.- What makes a good friend for you?

A good friend is supportive when you feel down, is outgoing and enjoys hanging out with you, is dependable, and doesn't complain if you call or text them late at night, is responsible and serious when you need them to be, but just little bit crazy when you need that too, and is only ever cruel to be kind. He or She is enthusiastic about your hobbies, even if they think they're boring, is truthful enough to tell you you've got chocolate around your mouth when everyone else keeps quiet! A best friend is on your side when you're drunk and the most important, dedicated to your friendship.

2.- Describe a time when you made a new friend.

This happened five years ago. I don't know how exactly we got friends but I know that we stayed in the school and we started to talk about something, and then we became good friends. The relationship was stronger went she started rowing, although we were angry with each other about a year for a stupid thing. But now we are another time good friends again!

    Clever clock!

    Article:
If you find it difficult to get up for school, this alarm clock will help you. It rolls away when it rings, and you have to catch it!

    Comment:
I don't like this invent. I think that it's possible to be a good idea to get up, but if you need to put running behind the alarm clock just in the moment that you get up, you will be moody all the day. I comment this to my friend and we think that this is a craziest idea. I mean you really think that at 7 a.m. I will left from the bed quickly for catching the alarm clock?!! In fact if I have this clock some day, I will immobilized with a threat on the bed.

Sixty-six surfers surf on a surfboard

    Article:
Surfing is usually a solitary sport, but not here! This summer, 66 surfers rode this giant surfboard together to set a new world record. The giant surfboard weighed 500 kilos and measured 13 meters, and the surfers stayed on it for 12 seconds!

    Comment:
I thinks that this is so crazy, but amazing in the same time. I mean, how 66 surfers can stay in the same surfboard?!! But in my opinion it's strange that they only can stay all together only for 12 seconds, when I look to this image I think that they were in for a 40 seconds, because a minute it's so exaggerated. Another's thinks that provides me look this image is how they met for doing this, how they made this surfboard and if they needed help for put into the water. So I look to the internet and they needed a crane to put into the water!

    My Last Summer

Hi, today I'm going to explain my last summer. First I'm going to talk about my June, Second about my July and finally about my August/ September.

Well, in June, I stayed training for the Spanish rowing Championship, the competition was in the 4rth of June and I need to say that I won.

In July, I stayed in Banyoles, in the morning I went training and in the afternoons I stayed at home watching drama series because I don't like horror series. I watched series like the beauty and the beast, glee or I was playing PS4 with my brother. Some afternoons I went to French or English classes but then I returned home.

In August, I stayed two weeks in Palamós, going to the beach every morning and went for a walk in the afternoons, and for one week I was on a cruise.

Finally in September I went rowing two days in El Panta de Sau, and then I stayed sad at home because in a few days the school would start. These last days I started watching Pretty Little Liars, because my beautiful and incredible friend Núria Jaén recommended it to me, and I think that I'm going to say thanks to Núria because I like it a lot and I watch it every evening before I go to the bed, and also in the morning before going to the school.

In conclusion I had a lot of fun, thanks for your attention.
